About Me
Lisa Knight MSc MCSP qualified from St. Thomas's Hospital, London in 1989. She has specialised in the assessment and treatment of neurological patients since 199. She has worked in a variety of NHS and private settings from neurosurgical intensive care to community rehabilitation. Her last NHS post was as Clinical Specialist at the Regional Rehabilitation Unit, Northwick Park Hospital.

What I Do |
Lisa currently treats adults with a variety of acquired neurological disabilities. She also undertakes medicolegal work, writing expert witness reports for Court. She teaches and mentors other physiotherapists on a variety of aspects of neurological physiotherapy. She has a particular interest in traumatic brain injury, recovery of the upper limb, and vestibular rehabilitation. Lisa mainly treats patients in their own homes.
Lisa is passionate about working as a team with carers and other professionals. She encourages patients to take an active role in their own management where possible with home and community exercise programmes. Lisa is involved in providing hydrotherapy to patients who have access to a pool. |
